Explore Reykjavík's Quaint Old City Centre with a Local Guide

The tour begins punctually at the icon of Reykjavik, Hallgrímskirkja church where you will find your guide just outside by the statue of Leifur Eiríksson. Guests are encouraged to check in with the guide 5-10 minutes before the tour starts. Please note the opening hours of the church and entry fees are found on www.hallgrimskirkja.is

We will begin our trip at the beautiful Hallgrímskirkja Church at the top of the downtown hill. This is the most popular landmark in the city, and for good reason.

We then stroll through the quaint streets of Þingholt neighborhood towards the City Pond and Arnarhóll. We pass by the Parliament building, Dómkirkjan cathedral, the lake Tjörnin and the City Hall. 

We expect the walk to take 2 hrs 15 minutes and it is all downhill and easy on the foot as well as being wheelchair accessible. Throughout the tour, the guide will narrate the history of Iceland and the evolution of reykjavík as a town. We will also share with you various local stories about our food, folklore, politics and economy. The tour is run in small groups giving everyone ample time to ask questions about anything! Our guides are very experienced full-time city guides and educated in history.

Reykjavík Sea Angling Gourmet

Leaving from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík, this is **the ultimate puffin adventure** tour operated on our RIB speedboats. 

The summer is the best time to experience the birds and wildlife of the bay and islands **just outside Reykjavík City**. Puffins, auks, gannets and an incredible variety of other sea birds dominate the skies and sea cliffs just a few minutes sailing from the Old Harbour. 

But that is not all: this tour is operated in our custom made RIB boats. Each boat can only seat 12 passengers so this is a **personal tour** where you travel with a small group. 

The boats are specially designed to get you as close as possible to the islands and when possible we can switch the engines completely off to give the birds (and you) some **peace and quiet to enjoy nature**. During the tour your guide and captain will tell you interesting facts and tales about the puffins and the surroundings. 

On this up close & personal tour each boat **only seats 12 passengers** so you have plenty of time to ask your guide any question you have about the charismatic puffins and the other Icelandic sea birds.

This great whale watching tour starts from the Old Harbour of Reykjavík and during the puffin season (early May to the end of August) we also **visit the puffins** in their natural habitat. Next we head out in search of the whales. There are very few things that will beat the experience of seeing the whales and dolphins as up close as you can at sea level from our RIB boats.

Our whale watching boats are equipped with high **performance suspension seats.** These shock absorbing seats increase safety and comfort and reduce the risk of injuries. So you can comfortably & securely enjoy your whale watching adventure out on the North Atlantic waters. 

After the whale safari we travel back to **Reykjavík**, where we will take ride along the city's shore line, experiencing a **unique panoramic view of Reykjavík** from the sea (perfect for photos).

Whales, Puffins & Reykjavík

This trip is an excellent trip for all those interested in trying the Icelandic horse, a trek on the hardy, sure-footed Icelandic horse is an experience to remember. Whether you are a beginner or expert, old or young, these friendly horses, with their alert and willing nature are indeed a pleasure to ride in their natural surroundings. We pick you up at your hotel or guesthouse in Reykjavik and drive to the farm located only 15 minutes from Reykjavik. At the farm you will get all basic gear, such as helmets, boots and rain clothes (snowsuits in wintertime). We gather information about how much you have been riding and choose the proper horse to match your experience. After the ride we will take you back to your hotel or guesthouse.

Experience the magnificent view of the capital of Iceland! When the scene of colorful rooftops slips away, brace the Iceland’s unspoiled countryside in its whole glory.
